Wyzowl's 2026 video marketing survey is out, and the headline number is hard to ignore: 83% of
video marketers say video has directly lifted sales. That's down a point from last year's peak, but after a decade of steady climb, the message is the same - video sells.
Here's what I take from it as someone who makes brand videos for a living:
most businesses already believe video works. The gap isn't conviction, it's execution. Companies keep postponing the brand film, the product video, the testimonial series - and every quarter they wait is a quarter their competitors are out there with one.
The stat that matters more than the 83%: most marketers plan to hold or raise their video budgets this year. The businesses investing now are buying an advantage while everyone else debates it.
If you've been meaning to put real video behind your brand, this is the data-backed nudge.
